My Philosophy
Architecture is about creating buildings and spaces that inspire us, that help us do our jobs, that bring us together, and that become, at their best, works of art that we can move through and live in. And in the end, that is why architecture can be considered the most democratic of art forms.

Skyloft Residences - Austin
Skyloft is a high-rise apartment building in West Campus, located just two blocks from The University of Texas at Austin. The project team included Mark Hart Architecture and J. E. Dunn (both Austin firms), as well as STG Design and NOW Specialties. The Skyloft includes 212 units for a total of 677 beds and has four below-grade levels for parking.

Q2 Stadium
Q2 is much more than just a stadium. With its casual and welcoming atmosphere, food and beverages, gorgeous outdoor spaces, and huge video board, it is a destination 365 days a year!

Corgan Associates - Dallas
The Luminary — a 169,005-square-foot, Class-A office building. The seven-story building is located at the intersection of two main Dallas freeways, sitting between the Harwood District, Downtown Dallas, the Arts District, and Victory Park in Dallas.

DFW Airport Grand Hyatt
Grand Hyatt DFW Hotel inside DFW International Airport Terminal D is steps away from TSA checkpoints, with direct access to all terminals. Soundproof guest rooms and extensive suites offer amazing runway views.

LIVE Grandscape
LIVE Grandscapeis a residential building in the Grandscape, in The Colony, Tx. This retail and entertainment development has been awarded the most innovative in the world. Live Grandscape has 345 units, consisting of studios, one and two-bedroom apartments, and two penthouse suites.

Methodist Richardson Medical Center
Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, Tx. The Richardson campus offers 209 beds and all private rooms, more than 400 physicians in thirty-five specialties, as well as ground-level outpatient, imaging, and surgical services. I believe Perkins and Will’s modern design and bold material distinctions complete this state-of-the-art healthcare center.

The Victor - Dallas
The Victor is a luxury for-rent residential high-rise community in Dallas. Comprised of 344 luxury residences, the 39-story high-rise tower stands taller than any other residential community in Victory Park or Uptown and boasts 360-degree views of Turtle Creek and the American Airlines Center; Downtown and Uptown; and the Trinity River and Margaret Hunt Hill bridge.

The Residences at Colombe D'Or is a 34-story high-rise in the eclectic Houston neighborhood of Montrose.

Marriott
Marquis
Houston
This 1000-room hotel with 29 floors will be the second hotel to serve the George R. Brown Convention Center / Convention Center District. The hotel attaches to the convention center via a sky bridge. Features of the Marriott Marquis include 10,000 square feet of meeting space and a 40,000 square foot ballroom. The amenity deck, on the roof of the ballroom, features a lazy river in the shape of Texas perched 110 feet above ground level.

San Jacinto College Science and Allied Health Facility - Houston
The diamond-shaped Spectra Cupral on the cylindrical front entrance of the San Jacinto College Allied Health Facility serves as an anchor point for the southeast corner of the campus. This masterpiece is hard to miss because the bright silver really makes the color pop. This is one of my favs.

McKinney ISD Stadium
The gigantic McKinney ISD Stadium and Community Center was completed in 2017. Sometimes the back of the scoreboard is more iconic than the front. In McKinney, Texas, high school football is king. On Friday nights, this stadium glows with excitement.

Designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate Thom Mayne, the Perot Museum's building has been called the boldest piece of modern architecture to hit Dallas.
